Hey all. I recently moved back up to Poughkeepsie after 3 years in Westchester. I know 909 very well and know all the Westchester trails (Blue, Graham and Sprain) very well but I need some new places up in this area. I'm hoping to catch a ride with you guys some Friday at the Brewery Trails but I'd also like to check out Jockey Hill in Kingston.
A little more backround on me...I race Downhill and raced XC last year. I ride everything (including road) but love the super tech stuff. I try to split my time between Downhilling and XC riding as much as I can but this year Downhilling has been a bit higher on the agenda so my lungs and legs are a bit out of shape for the longer rides and the bigger climbs.
Thanks
Tom |

Hi, my name is Ray and I used to be somebody. President of this here club in fact. Now I enjoy private life, out of the political arena, and I'm working on my memoirs. |

Hey everyone, I'm Beth. I started riding singletrack a couple of years ago when I graduated from college and moved down to the Hudson Valley. Now I'm seriously addicted and should probably spend less money on my Kona and more on putting food in my mouth!
I'm hoping to hook up with the Fats in the spring. It's always great to meet new riders and discover new trails. |

Welcome Bikegeek and Bluebug. We are planning a ride at Blue mountain this Sunday, with a pre-ride breakfast at my house. Please see the ride forum for directions to my house (Barrytown). If you live south and want to meet us, we will meet in the upper parking lot of Blue mountain by the lake at 10:30, to 10:45 am. Hope to see you! |

Hi, I'm Jay (Chico is my dog). I live up near Albany. Married with a little mtn biker on the way.
I've been away from mountain biking for 7+yrs because of dreadful jobs and an unhealthy lifestyle. In the early 90's I was an occassional sport class XC racer (Hunter, Warwick, Mt. Snow etc). Now in my mid 30's I decided it's time to get back to the fun and get in shape too.
Don't know if I'll ever get back into racing but I want to find a good fun group to ride with so I'll probably become a member of Fats in the Cats. I may join Hudson Mohawk Cycling Club too. I guess they built some cool trails up in Crafton/Pittstown State Park. I'll give you guys an update once I check them out.
Bikes: Specialized Stumpjumper Hardtail w/ some upgrades.
And a Bianchi road bike w/ Shimano 105 downtube shifters! Old school.
Ride safe! |

Sounds like fun. I'm sad to see that there's a good chance of rain on Sun. I'm planning to buzz around Minnewaska with some members of the Mid Hudson club. I would love to do Blue again. I was at the Fat Tire fest, but haven't been riding there since. |
