I recently got myself back up to 909 after only having been there once before a year ago. I was able to find a lot more singletrack this time (and am in relatively better shape/skill than last time) and had a really good ride there. I brought a copy of the map at http://www.bikerag.com/images/MAPS/ny/909_march_20_2008.JPG but found it a bit confusing and busy. It's hard to tell what is singletrack and what are fire roads.

I've been helping the WMBA, NYNJTC and Westchester Parks with a few maps the past year or so (Graham Hills, new Yorktown trails), so I started making my own version of 909 for fun and practice. I gathered a bunch of GPS tracks from what I could find on Garmin Connect, as well as some I found through some searches on Google. There are some differences between what people have recorded and what's on the BikerRag map, so I'd like to sort those out eventually.

Anyways, is there any interest in an updated map? I'd like to help out if I can. I should have something decent to share after another ride at 909 this weekend.

I would send what you have to Pedaler845 directly before posting anything on the forum. He know the trails blindfolded!

Before posting anything, I would also suggest contacting Pedaler845. He has contact with the local ranger and can get it ok'd...
